Comprehensive Genetic Testing

Before any breeding takes place, both parents undergo extensive genetic screening through certified laboratories. We test for all known hereditary conditions in Russian Toys, including:

  • Patellar Luxation (knee problems)
  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (eye disease)
  • Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease (hip condition)
  • Von Willebrand Disease (blood clotting disorder)
  • Cardiac screening for heart murmurs

Only dogs that pass all genetic screenings are included in our breeding program.

Veterinary Partnership

We work closely with licensed veterinarians throughout every stage of our breeding program:
